about the psoybeanSMP!

The psoybeanSMP is a survival multiplayer world on the Java Edition of Minecraft, consisting of members of ChiChi's community from Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube! It is a small but active server that everyone can play without mods. The server is played on version 1.20.4 and will continue to evolve over time. Members of the server are accepted via application so as to protect all of the members from griefing.The psoybeanSMP was established in January 2024. ChiChi often streams builds on the server, and any members can tag content created on the server with #psoybeanSMP. no mods are required, and ChiChi's texture packs can be found in the link labeled "texture packs". hope to see you soon!

server commands

these commands will help you get started on the server!

basic commands:

/sethome <name>: sets your current location as a home (personal warp point).
/home <home name>: teleports you to the labeled home you created above.
/claim: initiates property claims. you can also right click with a golden shovel to do this.
/tpa <player name>: requests another player for you to teleport to them.
/tpahere <player name>: requests another player to teleport to your location.
/tpoff or /tpon: toggles teleport requests from other players.
/warps: displays the community warp points of the main town.
/spawn: sends you back to world spawn.

warp points:

/warp animals: warps players to the community animal farm. (pls leave at least two animals so we can repopulate the farm!)
/warp blazes: takes you to the nether area where blazes can be farmed.
/warp bluebeacon: warps players to the blue beacon located closer to the edge of the "town".
/warp communityhome: warps players to the community home with four beds that players can stay in temporarily.
/warp docks: takes you to a safe fishing area with beds.
/warp endportal: takes you to the stronghold that has an endportal (the dragon has been beat already).
/warp lodge: takes you to PhatBoiLotto's Tofu Lodge, another temp home for the psoybeans.
/warp netherportal: warps players to just outside of the community nether portal.
/warp pinkbeacon: warps you to the pink beacon that is closer to the middle of the town.
/warp townhall: warps players to the town hall. great for when we host town meetings!
/warp treefarm: warps players to the small community farm tree farm with birch, acacia, oak, cherry, spruce, and dark oak trees. (pls replant what you take!)
/warp village: warps players to the villager trading post. anyone caught griefing this area will be banned. please do not harm our sweet villager friends, cats, or golems.

rules of the server!

failure to follow these rules may result in removal from the server. reporting can be done via the tickets system in ChiChi's discord!

overall rules:

1. please inform ChiChi or the mods if your username changes on Twitch, TikTok, or Minecraft.
2. this is a community server. please be kind and share resources that are stored in the town hall building near world spawn.
3. do not harm anyone else or ruin their homes. anyone caught griefing will be banned, no exceptions. PVP is disabled.
4. personal homes are fine. you can claim space with a golden shovel, and you earn more claim blocks over time. if you need help, tell ChiChi!
5. have fun and enjoy getting to know each other! voice chat is available in the discord but not required to play. the same chatting rules apply as on ChiChi's Twitch.

getting started:

1. you will spawn in front of the town hall, a building with chests where you can take a few items from. please take only one "stack" of each item so others can get items later. this will be restocked by ChiChi and community members.
2. be sure to grab a golden shovel. this is how you will create a claim. go to a space you want to claim and use the right click on your shovel or place a chest, and your golden shovel will be used to edit the corners of your claim. you start with 100 blocks to claim.
3. familiarize yourself with where things are. most community areas are warp points, but sometimes ChiChi closes them if there are issues. leave things better than as you saw them!
4. when you have built your home, be sure to use /sethome to set your teleport point for your home. you can then use /home to quickly teleport home. you may have five homes with different names.

extra rules:

1. when building your home, consider the area you are in. try not to be in an overpopulated area as claims cannot overlap.
2. when mining, please do not dig under anyone's claims, including your own. we want to prevent those annoying, underground mobs spawns for people who are not interested in high PVE.
3. do not ask for items unless you have something to trade. many of the members are nice, however, we want to make sure everyone benefits on the server! starter tools and food are for keeps.
4. any questions or issues should be directed to ChiChi only. ChiChi is the only operator on the server at this time. you can send issues via the tickets system or in #chichi-inbox in the discord server.

the psoybeanSMP is currently application-based, with subscribers of Twitch or TikTok having priority for application processing. please do not ask about the server application unless you are a subscriber.
